Plans to settle, decorate, and make it a home are in the works. We've already committed and purchased plants. Baby+plants=Settling. It'll be a huge change from the transient lifestyle I've led for the last five years but I look forward to it. More and more, my sense of family is deepening and it's such a beautiful feeling. More than I could ever have imagined.
Hurray!! I'm so happy for you guys. Since I still am very much in that work-too-much-transient-lifestyle point in my life, thinking of the new home you guys will be creating gives me a sense of piece. I can't wait to move back in the fall or winter and re-resume my role as auntie soon.

Olympia's got the cutest kicks. I used to find baby Timbs obscene but I think I understand now... Maybe next winter I'll get her a pair.

I like those tennis, but I will buy my grandchild a pair of dressing shoe when I get a job.
Congrats on the new place! Pete and I are moving in a couple of weeks too and I feel the same way. Somehow decorating and making a home sounds so inviting! I even looked online to see how to make my own herb garden, ahh the joys of domestic goddess-ness!
